Aimee Emmrich, LMHC, LPC, LPCC
Aimee Emmrich, LMHC, LPC, LPCC, is a PACT Certified Therapist licensed in New York, Arizona, and California, with more than 20 years of experience supporting individuals and couples.
Aimee is certified in the Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT), developed by Dr. Stan Tatkin. PACT integrates attachment theory, developmental neuroscience, and the study of how the nervous system responds to stress and connection. This approach helps couples better understand their relationship patterns, strengthen emotional security, navigate conflict, and develop more secure, mutually supportive partnerships.
Aimee specializes in couples experiencing communication difficulties, intimacy concerns, and relationship disconnection. She also has extensive experience supporting highly sensitive individuals, women who are child-free, and clients navigating anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, and grief.
She has a particular passion for supporting individuals coping with traumatic loss and bereavement and has completed the Compassionate Bereavement Care Certification. Her clinical background also includes training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed approaches.
Aimee provides LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive individual and couples therapy, creating a compassionate and supportive environment where clients can explore challenges, deepen understanding, and build more meaningful connections.
